About Us

We want to help good ideas do more good.

Pushpin is a visual storytelling studio that works with mission-driven teams to make complex ideas feel clear and deeply human.

We create space for clarity and connection in a world full of misinformation, helping your mission reach the people who need to see it.

Why “Pushpin”?

We started in 2012 with just a few markers, a whiteboard and a simple idea: if we could draw it, maybe people would get it.

We chose the name Pushpin because we wanted to make ideas stick.

A pushpin marks what matters, bringing clarity, visibility and focus. It anchors ideas to shared space, like a community bulletin board or a movement map. That’s the kind of work we wanted to do—and still do.

How we got here

Pushpin began as the first studio in the Philippines to specialize in graphic recording, drawing live visual summaries of keynotes, lectures, and workshops as they happened.

Now, we’ve grown from sketching at events to becoming a full-blown visual storytelling studio. Apart from drawing live during summits, strategy sessions and forums, we’re also making advocacy campaigns more human, turning research reports into comics, and creating explainer videos that help communities understand what’s at stake.

But at our core, we’ve always done the same thing: we draw to connect.

Today, Pushpin stands for something bigger than a drawing studio.

It stands for making advocacy visible. For anchoring bold ideas. For helping people see and believe in, a better future.

We draw for those building movements,
changing systems, and reimagining what’s possible.

What we believe

We live by four core values that guide how we work with each other and with you.

Service

Showing up with empathy, solving real world problems, and creating value beyond ourselves.

When our work helps others move forward, that’s when it truly feels meaningful.

Learning

Staying curious. Because the better we learn, the better we serve.

Whether it’s sharpening our skills or asking better questions, we seek clarity so we can pass it on.

Teamwork

Showing up for each other and the work that matters.

Because success is something we build together.

Co-Creation

Believing that the best ideas come from shared minds and open dialogue.

We listen closely, welcome feedback and build partnerships where everyone feels valued.

Let’s co-create!

We’d love to hear what you’re working on and explore how visuals can help make it land.
