“How can I engage conference attendees in a novel, meaningful way?”

Client: Learning Curve
Website:
Date: May 25, 2016
Scope: Content Marketing, Live Visual Summaries

Challenge

Content360, Asia’s premier content marketing conference, was held for the first time in the Philippines last May 25, 2016.

Speakers shared trends, case studies, and best practices on using content marketing effectively.

To add a layer of interest, Pushpin was invited to complement the speakers’ content by generating content that was visually-compelling, but still on point, and helped audiences reinforce key takeaways and learnings.

Solution

Pushpin created large-format visual summaries for each of the speakers, using 3 x 5-feet foam boards propped up on easels.

During each session, armed with only the name of the speaker and the title of their presentation, we had around 20-30 minutes to listen, think, and draw the content. By the time the speaker wrapped up his/her talk, we had to bring the canvas onstage for a photo opportunity; this meant that we had to work very fast in order to finish in time.

After the sessions, the finished visuals were displayed in the common areas for audiences to review during breaks. They were also incorporated as part of the photo wall, so that audiences could take selfies with it to commemmorate the event.
