She shared these and other insights culled from years of experience in risk, crisis, and reputation management, at a recent industry talk hosted by Manila House Private Club last March 15, 2017.

 

 

She began the talk by sharing case studies of how some of the biggest companies in the Philippines dealt with their respective crisis moments. She then used those as springboard for defining the differences between risk, issue, and crisis, recommending that it’s often best to anticipate and prepare for risk, long before they become crises. She shared the 10 golden rules for crisis management, and ended with three principles for reputation management in the digital age: transparency over integrity, ubiquity over reputation, and preparedness as the fourth “P” of marketing.
